Terms + Conditions

Provider: Chivonne Monaghan (“Consultant,” “I,” “Me,” or “My”)
Client: The individual or organization purchasing or participating in services, products, or programs.

By purchasing, booking, or participating in any 1:1 service, group program, workshop, retreat, speaking engagement, or digital product offered by Chivonne Monaghan, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

Chivonne Monaghan agrees to provide the services, program, workshop, retreat, or speaking engagement as outlined at the time of purchase or booking.
This may include, but is not limited to:
  • 1:1 grief & resilience support
  • Group programs or circles
  • Workshops and trainings
  • Retreat facilitation
  • Speaking engagements
  • Digital products, courses, or resources
Client agrees to abide by all policies and procedures explained in this document and provided during enrollment or booking.

2. NO-SHOW / CANCELLATION POLICY

For 1:1 Sessions
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
  • A no-show (not attending without notice) will be charged the full session fee.
  • Repeated missed or last-minute cancellations may result in termination of services.
For Group Programs, Workshops, Retreats, and Courses
Due to the nature of group scheduling and event preparation:
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • Transfers may be approved on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the Consultant.
For Speaking Engagements
Event cancellations or date changes:
  • If the Client cancels within 30 days of the event, the full speaking fee is owed.
  • If the Client cancels 31–90 days before the event, 50% of the speaking fee is owed.
  • Deposits for speaking engagements are non-refundable.

3. FEES

All fees are clearly stated at the time of purchase or booking.
Unless otherwise noted, all payments are processed in USD.
Payment plans must be completed in full. Failure to complete payments may result in removal from services or programs.

4. REFUND POLICY

All sales are final.
 No refunds will be issued for:
  • 1:1 sessions
  • Group programs
  • Workshops
  • Retreats
  • Speaking engagements
  • Digital products or courses
This policy is in place to honor the time, preparation, and energetic commitment required to deliver these services.

5. DISCLAIMER

Client understands and agrees that Chivonne Monaghan is not acting in any of the following capacities:
  • Doctor, medical professional, psychiatrist, or psychotherapist
  • Registered therapist, counselor, or social worker
  • Lawyer or legal advisor
  • Financial advisor, accountant, or tax specialist
  • Business manager, PR agent, or publicist
  • Employee, agent, or representative of the Client
Client acknowledges:
  1. These services, programs, workshops, and speaking engagements do not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical, psychological, or psychiatric condition.
  2. Any suggestions, tools, or practices offered are for educational and supportive purposes only.
  3. Client is responsible for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being during and after participation.
  4. If Client is experiencing a mental health crisis, medical emergency, or severe psychological symptoms, they should contact their healthcare provider or local emergency services immediately.
Consultant makes no guarantees regarding outcomes or results from any service or product.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating in services or programs, Client agrees to release and hold harmless Chivonne Monaghan from any claims, damages, or liability arising from:
  • Decisions made based on the services
  • Emotional experiences arising during or after sessions
  • Actions or results not within Consultant’s control
Client participates voluntarily and accepts full responsibility for their choices and experiences.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY

Client information will remain confidential except in the following cases:
  • Client expresses intent to harm themselves or others
  • Consultant is legally required to disclose information
  • Client shares testimonials or comments publicly

8. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time.
If the Consultant terminates services, Client will receive notice and may be provided referrals, if appropriate. No refunds will be issued.

9. CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP

The relationship between Consultant and Client concludes after the purchased service or program ends. If additional services are desired, a new agreement or booking must be made.

10. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing or participating in any service, booking, program, product, retreat, or speaking engagement with Chivonne Monaghan, Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
