After the Fall™: An Eight-Week Grief Integration Group for Women

A trauma-aware, small-group program for women ready to stop carrying grief alone.

May 19 – July 7, 2026 · Every Tuesday · Online via Teams · Limited to 10 Women

Grief doesn't always look the way people expect.

Sometimes someone dies and your world splits into before and after.

Other times, nothing "official" happened. But something still ended.

A relationship. A role. A version of yourself you'd spent years becoming. A life you thought you were building, quietly dismantled.

And now you're here — functioning, capable, holding things together well enough that most people assume you're fine.

But inside, something still feels unresolved. Heavy. Like part of the story was never fully witnessed.

This is a space for that.

Not for crisis. Not for closure. For the long, often lonely middle — where grief continues to live long after the world has moved on.

This Space Is For You If...

  • You're grieving the loss of a person, relationship, role, identity, or life chapter
You feel impacted by something others may not recognize as "real" grief

  • You've been told — directly or indirectly — that you should be over it by now

  • You're functioning in daily life but feel internally disconnected, heavy, or changed

  • You don't feel "grief group eligible" but know something still needs tending

  • You want support that honours emotional depth without pathologizing your experience

You do not need to prove your grief is valid to be here. If something in your life created a before and an after — that is enough.

What This Program Is

  • After the Fall™ is an eight-week grief integration program that combines a clinically grounded self-paced course with weekly live group calls — held in a small, intentional container of no more than ten women.

  • It is not therapy. It is not a crisis line. It is not a space where you'll be asked to perform healing or arrive somewhere by the end.

  • It is a structured, compassionate program built on one core belief: grief isn't something you get over. It's something you learn to live with, integrate, and grow around — at a pace that respects your humanity.

  • The program draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), nervous-system–informed practice, and the research of grief scholars including Kenneth Doka, Peter Levine, and Bessel van der Kolk. Every tool, practice, and framework has been designed to build capacity — not push you past it.

How It Works

The Self-Paced Course — Your Foundation

When you enroll, you receive immediate lifetime access to the full After the Fall™ eight-week course — a clinically grounded, self-paced program built around six phases of grief integration: Naming, Navigating, Reframing, Reconnecting, Releasing, and Renewing.

Each week includes grounded teaching, ACT-informed practices, somatic exercises, reflective prompts, and tools you can return to long after the program ends. Two weeks are built-in integration pauses — not new content, but intentional space for what's been opened to actually land.

You move through the course material at your own pace between calls. There is no pressure to complete everything. The course meets you where you are.

The Live Weekly Calls — Your Container

Every Tuesday from May 19 to July 7, you'll join a live 60-minute integration circle on Google Teams with Chivonne and the other women in your cohort.

These calls are not lectures or Q&A sessions. They are a facilitated space to pause, reflect, and be witnessed — where grief does not need to be minimised, explained, or justified.

Each call is guided by the week's course themes and held with warmth, structure, and care. You can speak as much or as little as feels right. Quiet presence is always welcome.

Calls will not be recorded. This is intentional. The container works because it is contained — a present-moment space where participants can speak honestly and feel genuinely safe doing so.

The Room — Why Ten Women

This cohort is capped at ten participants. Not as a marketing device — as a care decision.

Grief work in a group requires trust, and trust requires intimacy. In a room of ten, Chivonne can know your name and your story. You can build real connection with the women beside you. The space can hold complexity without becoming overwhelming.

Ten is the number where a group stops feeling like an audience and starts feeling like a community.

What’s Included

The full After the Fall™ eight-week self-paced course — including all modules, exercises, somatic practices, ACT frameworks, reflective prompts, journal pages, and bonus materials. Yours for life.

Eight live weekly Tuesday group integration calls — 60 minutes each, facilitated by Chivonne Monaghan, held on Teams from May 19 to July 7, 2026.

Access to the After the Fall™ Continuum community — the ongoing monthly membership space for women who have completed the course, so the support doesn't end when the eight weeks do.

Guided meditations and nervous system support audio — a growing library of recordings for grief between sessions, anniversaries, and unexpected waves.

Ongoing facilitation and support from Chivonne throughout the program.

Meet Chivonne

In 2024, Chivonne Monaghan lost three significant men in her life within a single year — a former partner, her father, and her stepfather. Each loss arrived differently. None of them hurt any less.

She had spent over two decades working in personal development, wellness, and trauma-aware facilitation. And grief still undid her.

In trying to find her footing, she did what most of us do: therapy, grief groups, books, podcasts. Each helped her take the next step. And she still needed more — something that held both the clinical rigour she was trained to respect and the warm, honest human presence that no framework alone can provide.

So she built it.

After the Fall™ is the program she needed and couldn't find. It is grounded in ACT, informed by the research of Levine, van der Kolk, and Doka, and shaped by more than twenty years of experience holding group spaces with care and skill.

This will be the seventh cohort she has guided through this work.

A Final Note

You do not need to have the "right kind" of grief to be here. You do not need to be in crisis, or out of crisis, or at any particular stage of anything.

You need to feel that something still lives in you that hasn't been witnessed yet — and a quiet sense that carrying it alone isn't working anymore.

This is a room that will hold what you bring. You are welcome here.
