Where My Work Really Began

I grew up in an environment shaped by addiction and trauma, experiences that influenced me deeply but no longer define me. For years, I searched for happiness outside of myself: through achievement, travel, relationships, and distraction.

It wasn’t until I turned inward that I learned how to hold myself through the hardest parts of being human. That became the beginning of everything I teach today.

Over the past two decades, I’ve:

  • Lived in six countries

  • Traveled through more than thirty others

  • Coached and supported people across the world

  • Built a career in wellness and personal development

  • Facilitated retreats and healing experiences

  • Taught yoga, meditation, and nervous-system practices

  • Explored modalities such as: CBT, EMDR, TRE, NLP, meditation, Yin yoga, breathwork, trauma-aware coaching, and emotional regulation.

Each one became another layer of understanding - about pain, healing, and possibility.

2024: The Year Everything Shattered

In a matter of months, I lost:

  • My father

  • My stepfather

  • A former partner

My father’s death was the most complicated.
He was cremated one week before I even knew he had passed.
No goodbye.
No closure.
No roadmap for what came next.

Every tool I had ever gathered was suddenly tested… and ultimately reshaped.

Through the deepest grief of my life, I learned something essential:
Grief is not something you “get over.”
We grow around it.
It becomes part of us - like a tattoo: raw at first, tender as it heals, and eventually a marker of who we’re becoming.

This truth is now the foundation of my work.

Everything I teach rests on this trauma-aware model:

Grace - Self-compassion. Permission to not be okay.

Space - Emotional room to pause, feel, breathe, and heal at your own pace.

Base - Grounding tools, nervous-system support, connection, and community. The foundation you need when your world has changed.

This framework helps people integrate their grief rather than fight it.
