Refund + Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services, products, programs, workshops, retreats, and speaking engagements provided by Chivonne Monaghan through chivonnemonaghan.com or any related platforms.
Please read this policy carefully before booking or purchasing.

1. 1:1 Sessions (Grief & Resilience Support)

Cancellation
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
  • A no-show (not attending without notice) will be charged the full session fee.
  • Repeated missed or last-minute cancellations may result in termination of services.
Refunds
Payments for 1:1 sessions are non-refundable.

2. Group Programs, Circles & Workshops

Due to limited capacity and the preparation required:
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • Missed sessions will not be credited, refunded, or transferred.
  • If you cannot attend, you may request a spot in a future group (subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the provider).

3. Retreats

Retreat payments secure accommodations, materials, and planning costs.
Deposits
  • All retreat deposits are non-refundable, without exception.
  • Deposits may be transferable to another retreat if approved and if space allows.
Final Payments
  • All retreat payments are non-refundable after purchase.
  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your retreat spot to another person with prior approval.
Retreat Cancellations by Provider
If a retreat is canceled by the provider (rare and only under extenuating circumstances), participants may receive:
  • A full refund or
  • A transfer to a future retreat
The provider is not responsible for travel costs or additional expenses.

4. Speaking Engagements

Deposit & Payment
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
  • Remaining fees are due by the date outlined in the contract or invoice.
Event Cancellation by Client
If the Client cancels:
  • Within 30 days of the event:
     → Full speaking fee is owed
  • 31–90 days before the event:
     → 50% of the speaking fee is owed
  • Deposits are non-refundable at any time.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated when possible, but are not guaranteed.

5. Digital Products & Online Courses

All digital products, downloads, and online courses are non-refundable, including:
  • Ebooks
  • Workbooks
  • Digital guides
  • Course modules
  • Audio or video resources
Due to the nature of digital delivery, all sales are final.

6. Payment Plans

If a payment plan is chosen:
  • All payments must be completed in full.
  • Missed payments may result in removal from the program without refund.
  • Payment plans cannot be paused, canceled, or extended once started.

7. Extenuating Circumstances

I understand life can be unpredictable. If you’re experiencing a crisis, please reach out. While refunds are not offered, accommodations or transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. How to Request a Cancellation or Change

All cancellations or changes must be submitted via email:

9. Acceptance of This Policy

By purchasing, booking, or participating in any service or product provided by Chivonne Monaghan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
