Let's talk about what you're carrying, and what might help.
I'm really glad you booked this call. This short guide explains what to expect, answers the questions people often have, and walks you through the one thing I need from you before we meet. You don't need the right words. Come exactly as you are.

Please complete your pre-call form.
Before our call, I ask everyone to fill out a short form about what you're carrying and what you're hoping for. I read every answer before we meet, so our 30 minutes can start from a real place instead of background and small talk.
Please submit it as soon as you can, and no later than the day before our call. Answer as fully as feels comfortable. If a question is too much right now, write "I'd rather talk about this on the call" and move on.
Your loss, first.
You're probably here because something changed your life, and the world seems to have moved on faster than you have. This call is a place to say what's true about that to someone who won't rush you or try to fix it.
We'll talk about how your loss is showing up now (in your body, your sleep, your relationships and your sense of who you are) and whether 1:1 support is the right next step. By the end, you'll have what you need to make a real decision, not a "let me think about it."
1:1 grief support, three ways to pay.
I offer one program from this call: twelve private, one-hour sessions with me, built around After the Fall™. The only difference between the options is how you pay and how often we meet.
I share pricing here so there are no surprises on our call. If cost is a concern, tell me in your pre-call form and we'll talk about what's realistic for you.

- We meet every two weeks
- Six months together, at a gentler pace

Let's answer your questions
"I'm not sure I'm ready. I don't even know what to say."
You don't need to be ready, and you don't need the words. That's part of why the form helps: you can write things down in your own time, and I'll already have read them when we talk. If talking feels like too much, we can begin by grounding. It's okay to cry, go quiet or keep your camera off.
"Does my loss even count? Nobody died." Or: "It's been years."
Yes, it counts. Grief follows any loss that changed your life: divorce, estrangement, a diagnosis, a parent with dementia, a job that defined you, a pregnancy, a pet, a future you planned that won't happen, or more than one loss at once. Grief doesn't expire either. If it's still shaping your life, it's welcome here.
"I need to talk to my partner first."
If this is a joint decision, have that conversation before our call so you can decide with confidence on the call, not weeks after it. Most partners are relieved to hear you want support. They've often been watching you carry this and wishing they knew how to help.
At the end of the day, this is about you getting the care you need. When you're supported, the people around you benefit too.
"I've tried therapy, groups and books. Why would this be different?"
I tried all of those too, and each helped me take the next step. None of them held the whole thing. After the Fall™ was built for the long middle of grief, after the casseroles stop. It's structured enough to actually get you somewhere, and it never asks you to rush.
It's also built around how you grieve. Some people process by feeling and talking. Others process by doing and figuring things out. Nearly every exercise has both versions, so you're never asked to grieve in a style that isn't yours.
"What if 1:1 isn't the right fit for me?"
Then I'll tell you honestly. Sometimes the best next step is working through the After the Fall™ course on your own, at your own pace, and I'll suggest that if I think it will serve you better. Either answer is a good outcome.
"Is this therapy?"
No. I'm a Certified Grief Educator, and this is coaching and education, not therapy, medical care or crisis support. It works well alongside therapy. If I think you need more than coaching can hold, I'll tell you directly and help you find the right next step.

Is this right for you?
- You're grieving and you don't want to do this alone anymore.
- The world has moved on and you feel stuck in the middle.
- You want structure, but you won't be rushed.
- You're willing to keep showing up, gently, even on the hard weeks.
This probably isn't for you if…
- You're in crisis right now and need clinical or emergency care.
- You want someone to tell you how long grief should take.
- You're hoping to be fixed, or told to look on the bright side.
- You're not open to hearing hard things, even when they're said with kindness.
Here's the plan for our 30 minutes
No surprises. Because I'll have read your form, we can go straight to what matters.
- 0 – 5 MIN
Arrive and settle
A few breaths and a check-in on how you're doing today.
- 5 – 15 MIN
Your story, picking up from your form
I'll reflect back what I read, and you can add or correct anything. Share as much as you want.
- 15 – 22 MIN
What 1:1 support could look like
How our sessions would work for your loss and your way of grieving, and which pace fits your life.
- 22 – 27 MIN
Your questions, answered directly
Investment, scheduling, timing, whether you're "far enough along." Nothing's off the table.
- 27 – 30 MIN
Deciding your next step
We'll decide together whether 1:1 is right, or whether the self-guided course is a better place to start.

Chivonne Monaghan
In 2024, I lost three significant men in my life within a single year: a former partner, my dad, and my stepdad. My father was cremated a week before I even found out he had died.
After two decades in personal development and wellness, every tool I had was tested. Therapy, grief groups, books and podcasts each helped me take the next step, but nothing held all of it. So I built what I couldn't find: After the Fall™ and the Grace, Space + Base™ framework.
Now I work with people navigating every kind of loss, in the long, lonely middle after the world has moved on. I listen for what's said and what isn't, I'll gently tell you the things that are hard to see, and I'll celebrate every step you take.
Grief is not something you "get over." You grow around it.
See you on the call.
